Today, my mother told me a story. No, she told me stories.
A Brunei man used to ask for her hand in marriage, and another man of whom she didn’t say who. However, the latter changed his mind because he thought she was too quiet and snotty. On the other hand, the poor Brunei man faced rejection from my late grandmother because she was afraid he would bring my mother to Brunei and never return her to our homeland.
Sweet.
I wonder if my fate would turn out differently if my mother had married off that Brunei dude. Who knows… a typical rich spoilt brat for my name instead?
My mother also told me that my father used to bring a girl home to meet my grandparents, but my paternal granny didn’t like the girl. Poor girl. My mother said she was really pretty too.
Then she moved on to tell what she has done when she was having me in her big, round tummy.
Note that she was pretty inactive while being pregnant with my sister and fatcat.
She said I was about 8 months then in her womb and her tummy was already very big. Despite that, she likes to believe that she is wonder-massivebelly-woman and ran for her busses. She did that to and fro until the bus driver had to show the ‘stop’ hand signal from afar, repeatedly in gesture of asking her to stop running and indicated that he would wait for her.
=[
You don’t love me is it mudder?!
She also mentioned that the 1st time she caught a movie with my father was when I was in her tummy too. She claimed her tummy was also already bigliketoot by then.
Guess what movie?
No it’s not The Exorcist.
It’s Pretty Woman.
-______________-
And please don’t ask me if I remembered how Julia Robert sounds like while being in her stomach. I punch you upside down I tell you.
So now I know where I get my random, act tough genes from. Don’t blame me when I turn out like this. Remember what you did because it will haunt you.

HAHAHA and I am the ghost.
Mother. Just so you know I am still very dependent on you. It seems like I am supressing my fear of growing older and faster by the years. I selfishly want you to remain young and healthy so that you're able to stay by side for a long, long time. I still love you even though you made risks while catching your rides okay.
And if I ever chance upon meeting the ang moh who always gave up his seat for you in the shuttle bus to the hospital, I will fall on my knees and show my utmost gratitude.
Oh believe my words!
I know I am supposed to update with all the pictures. =/
Next entry lah.
